During the last consortium meeting held in Bilbao in the 21st and 22nd of March, the partners had the opportunity to attend a showcase carried out by the students of Colegio El Regato (www.colegioelregato.com/es/) in their facilities in Barakaldo.
The students showed the partners different superb projects developed using the taster courses designed in GYIT.
A videogame developed with the Programming taster course material, a “follow the line” robot programmed using the Robotics taster course material and a Website developed using the Web Development material where shown in this showcase. The students also had the opportunity to give the partners their opinion on the developed materials and their overall point of view of the project.
After the showcase, all the partners had a very interesting meeting with the teachers of the Basque schools participating in the piloting. Teachers from Iraurgi Ikastetxea (www.iraurgi.eus/es/) and Colegio El Regato took part in this meeting where they gave feedback to the consortium on the implementation of the taster courses into their Curriculas.
